Since January 1997 all new drivers are unable to tow any trailer over l50kgs (plated weight) or any combination of vehicle and trailer that exceeds 3500kgs (plated weight).
This means that Transit size vehicles towing small plant trailers, Four Wheel drive vehicles towing horseboxes or just cars towing caravans, now all fall under this regulation. See the Directgov website for further information.
Our four day course based near Maidstone takes you through the complete DSA schedule and includes both on road driving and off-road manoeuvring. On the fourth day the candidate takes the DSA B+E test at our local DSA Test centre, a test that will have been pre booked.

For further information on any of the above courses please contact us and for details of chainsaw and other arboriculture machinery see our chainsaw courses page.
