Pesticide Application Training - training in the safe use of pesticides

We offer a range of pesticides courses (sometimes called chemical control courses or weed spraying courses) especially aimed at professionals to help you or your business. Many people undertake a pesticide application for weed control, but pesticides are also used for the control of insects and other pests and diseases.

Please click on the relevant button to the left for further details of our courses.

The courses offered can all be applicable to either individuals or to groups of people. Discounts are available for group bookings and courses are run throughout the UK (and in 2009 on St Helena Island in the middle of the South Atlantic Ocean and 2010 on Ascension Island - see News page). Prices are available on request.

All of the trainers we use have extensive practical experience of pesticides use.  Our principal instructor, Ian Gower, is a member of the BASIS Professional Register and he has been involved in pesticides training and certification both before and since the NPTC units have been offered .

If required a pesticide course can be used for NASOR (National Amenity Spray Operators Register), NRoSO (National Register of Sprayer Operators) or BASIS CPD points, please ask for details.

A full range of application equipment, nozzles, PPE etc can be purchased from our sister company - IG Horticulture.
